Buckwild Breeches came to be because Robyn wanted a pair of leopard-print breeches for herself. But we couldn't find any cute ones - even after importing an expensive pair from Europe (a pair that ripped after only a couple of wears).

So we set out to make our own. Our own breeches in cute colors and patterns that you want to wear the barn and the grocery store afterward. Breeches that hold up to riding and barn chores for years - not days. Breeches so comfortable, they feel like your favorite yoga pants.

Robyn's leopard-print prototype was so popular at our barn (and everywhere else!), Buckwild was born.

Since that first prototype, we have improved our breeches every year. These leopard breeches include all of the Buckwild features you love, but with the same print that has made this one of our most popular patterns.

The Curvy Mare Collection is Not Just Breeches in Bigger Sizes

You sit in the dressing room at the tack store desperately trying not to cry because you tried on yet another pair of "plus-size" riding breeches that just. don't. work. You even went up a size. Most manufacturers think plus sizes mean bigger measurements. But that's not what you need. Your body is shaped differently. You need more room for your hips, thighs, and butt - it's NOT about going up a size. In fact, going up a waist size means you constantly need to pull up the waistband. Instead of doing it the way everyone else is doing it, we went to you. We asked several women with the same problems you have to model for us as we created the Curvy Mare line.

Your input resulted in:

● Breeches built to hug your curves, not strangle them, with proportions that give you room where you need it most.
● A rise that is 2" taller than our standard breeches so the waistband sits at your true waist - no more sagging!
● A silicone strip on the inside of the waistband to help your breeches stay in place and keep your shirt tucked in. (On select designs)
